Philosophy Club

Philosophy club at Drew University is a great way for students to get connected with outstanding works of philosophers, for instance, Aristotle, Gandhi and many more. Students can able to learn from them through reading their outstanding works and apply it in their daily lifestyles. Students can also enlighten other students from what they know about their influential figures in philosophy. This is the best way to share ideas and learn from others about philosophers who have made a huge impact on our society.

At first, I was shocked when I found this philosophy club. Nowadays, students would rather sign up for a rugby club instead of this club. Nobody wants to bore themselves by reading books. However, I was wrong. There were quite a lot of students who signed up for this club. It was a good thing to see that because I believe students who take a role in clubs like this can actually benefit for making wise decisions in their lives. Personally, I have benefited from reading Gandhi’s books. He has influenced me by his strong principles on satyagraph and his non-violence acts.
