Both candidates major for the United States presidential election faced off over economic policies during their respective campaign stops. Barack Obama, the Democratic Party nominee who coined the term “Growing American Jobs”, decided to divulge slightly on his economic policy to stimulate the lack luster economy. One of the proponents would include having Americans working menial labor jobs such as repairing roads, bridges, schools and other public places. All of the terms will be laid out if he wins the election.
John McCain, the republican candidate has yet to lay out some sort of policy as he is constantly attacking Obama for being a liberal democrat. The only attack so far he has conjured up is one that has been used many times: “the democrats are going to raise your taxes!”
Obama did some of his own pandering. In Tampa Bay during a stump speech stop, Obama declared himself a supporter of the Rays. However, he also said he was rooting for the Phillies.

While on the campaign trail, defending old Republican territory, North Carolina, John McCain once again stepped up the attacks on Obama. This time, there was no beating around the bush as McCain called Obama a socialist who wants to make the IRS a giant welfare system. McCain stated that Obama wants to raise taxes on everyone so that it will benefit those in Washington. Instead of lying out somewhat of a plan for the American people to hear, McCain instead decided that attacking Obama and the “liberal left” that just seem to ruin countries around the world was a much better idea.
